Noah's Surgery

Today was a very long, stressful, but overall good day! Brad, Noah, Tinsae and I all left the house a little before 3am to arrive at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee at 5am. Noah was scheduled for surgery at 7am to have a bone tumor removed from his back.

Noah was a trooper and put on his brave face for all of us! He didn’t know really what to expect but listened carefully to all the nurses and doctors. He was quite the handsome little guy before the surgery!

The surgery took a little over an hour and then Noah was in recovery for at least an hour. When Noah was wheeled into his room, he was in a LOT of pain! It was so hard to watch my little man be in pain. The pain medication finally kicked in and he started to settle down a little bit and doze on and off. He was able to drink some water, eat two orange sherbert cups, and drink some apple juice. He was just like his father; Noah had no patience and wanted to go home! So after about an hour, we walked out to the car and headed home. Noah slept for a good hour before eating something from McDonald's. He slept when he got home and just watched some TV. He hasn't needed to take the pain medication yet, just some motrin. He's so TOUGH! Love you little man!
